2018

Mazloum Lights is founded and launched, making an immediate appearance at the Maison & Objet fair in Paris. It will also feature in all the major design fairs in Egypt this year, offering exciting new and exclusive designs.

2016

After years of steady growth, the Mazloum Group as a parent company has over 3000 employees and over 35 showrooms in Cairo and Alexandria and throughout Egypt. With over 150 suppliers, it buys from all over the world: tiles and assorted construction materials from Spain, Italy, China, the UAE, Germany; steel from the Ukraine, Turkey, local manufacturers in Egypt; furniture from Europe and the US, with a few models from local designers in Egypt. Meanwhile, Mazloum Home has over 250 employees and eight showrooms, having taken the decision to reduce showrooms in locations that are no longer proving strategic. It has plans for imminent expansion in the Mall of Arabia and in Carrefour in Alexandria.

2010

Mazloum Home undergoes concerted expansion efforts, a combination of organic evolution and deliberate strategy. It expands from having one or two factories in Europe that it buys from to having ten to fifteen steady suppliers. It consolidates the relationships established with its principle Italian suppliers, namely Natuzzi and Alf Italia. A clear focus is placed on marketing to Egyptian customers, so that appreciation of the quality offered by Mazloum Home grows. Customer loyalty keeps increasing and the reputation of Mazloum Home spreads through word of mouth.

2010

Mazloum Home establishes a signature look, serving as conscious brand placement and a mark of its expansion into the high-end furniture business. Now, whenever you walk into any Mazloum Home shop, you immediately recognise the brand – with the wall, floors, colours and style immediately marking the company’s identity.
